Aalto University chooses Attido as its financial system implementation partner
Aalto University chose Finnish Attido as its financial system partner. The agreement includes maintenance and further development services in addition to the implementation project.
Last autumn, Aalto University chose the Oracle Fusion SaaS system as its new enterprise resource planning system (including EPM) and, in early 2023, the University called for tenders for the implementation as well as further development and support of the system.
“We are happy to get this opportunity to implement the first Oracle Fusion project in the Finnish higher education and university sector for Aalto University and to help Aalto University in its digital transition,” says Attido’s CEO Henrik Reims.
According to Aalto University’s Project Manager Marc Habets, the purpose of the tendering process was to find a partner who understands the specific characteristics of the university’s activities and who has relevant professional competence as well as previous experience of implementing the project in Finland and in the Nordic countries.
“In the tendering process, our priority was to find a high-quality partner to provide user-friendly financial administration services for all Aalto employees,” says Jukka Stenroos, Aalto University’s Head of Finance.
Attido partnering with Namos Solutions
Attido’s subcontractor in Aalto University’s financial administration system project is Namos Solutions, an English company with strong expertise and experience in ERP solutions in the university sector.
“Lately, we have made significant efforts to create strong networks of partners, which we can leverage to deliver our largest projects. In Aalto University’s project, Namos Solutions is an excellent partner for us. It has the same kind of competence in Oracle technology as Attido, but it also has the competence in ERP projects in the higher education and university sector, which is needed in this project,” says Aki Anttila, Attido’s VP Sales.
